I agree – reading is paramount to good leadership. I feel it provides the lead with an important context within which to make good decisions, often when he does not have enough situational information.

I’m wondering if you’d care to post a list of books you think should be read, Jim. I know you listed three or four in the post. Could we develop a list? That would be a fun book club!

I will reserve full judgment for after I read the book; however, I can probably say that my initial response is similar to yours.

“In your face, insults on views, etc.” will never draw people to Christ or change their view on issues like abortion, homosexuality, etc.

The “opposite side” will probably just chalk it up to that religious agenda brainwashing her…blah blah blah

That is just my initial thought. I sure hope it is not another “well intended effort” that turns on us and labels us as the right-wing, crazy, pro-lifer, etc.

Of course, I haven’t read the book…so, I’ll stop here…
